Galle Day Tour

A walled Dutch fort you can still live inside, right on the coast.

Galle Fort is a UNESCO World Heritage site — a walled town the Dutch built in the 1600s that's still lived in today, just with boutique shops and cafés tucked into the old trading houses. We walk the ramparts, the lighthouse, and the backstreets at a pace that leaves room for a coffee stop.

  • The 1938 Galle lighthouse
  • Dutch Reformed Church and the old gem-trading streets
  • Day Trip to Galle and Sri Lanka’s Southwest Coast from RIU Ahungalla Hotel or Heritance Ahungalla Hotel and near by any other hotels & villa guests with your private guide
